Did you know that having nice graphics on your site can dramatically increase your conversions? Well it's a proven fact.  

Think about what you look at when you go to a web page. If you are looking at any kind of digital product you will likely look at the book cover or box cover that is on the site. This likely makes you think of a tangible product like a book or software.

When you have nice graphics on your site it will give your site visitors that same feeling. They will have it in their mind that the product they are purchasing is something of value. This puts the visitor in a good frame of mind when they start reading your sales copy. The sales copy is what will sell them, but good web graphics will warm them up before they even start reading.

The problem with having graphics created for you is that it is usually very expensive. You are paying someone for their time and effort and that demands top dollar.

The other way to get graphics for your website is to create them yourself. The problem here is that software that can create good multi layer graphics costs hundreds of dollars, So what should you do?

I'll tell you what. You should use the free open source graphics creation software called "GIMP". Gimp is a fantastic piece of software. It can do everything those expensive software packages can do - and it's free.

What you need now is to learn how to use the software to create your graphics. It looks pretty daunting when you first download it, but with a couple of hours of training you will be creating your own website graphics and saving money.
